Bacon Services.
Everything is better with Bacon.
A browser-based image and vector editor. The website had to explain a product with layers, raster and vector tools, typography, masks and templates without reading like a manual.
What the site needed to do
Bacon is a design, illustration and photo-editing tool that runs entirely in the browser: layers, raster images, editable vectors, typography, masks and gradients, with export to PNG, JPG, WebP, PDF and SVG. It is free to start and needs no installation. The marketing site had one job: get a designer who lands on the page to open the editor, and give everyone else enough confidence in the tool to try it.
What Montoya Media did
- A single clear promise above the fold, "Design, illustrate and edit, right in your browser", with the editor one click away
- A tabbed feature tour (Design, Illustrate, Edit photo, Layout) so each use case gets its own short story instead of one long list
- Plain-language proof points next to the primary action: raster and vector, free to start, no installation, export formats
- A template browser and a feature overview as secondary paths for people who are not ready to open the editor
- Responsive layouts that keep the product imagery legible on a phone
- Semantic structure, keyboard-operable tabs and controls, and descriptive page titles for search
What is notable in the result
The page explains a tool with dozens of features in a few screens, and the primary action never leaves view. Everything on the site is verifiable by visiting it; nothing here is a projection.

The same approach works for any business with more to say than fits above the fold.
