Why it matters

Websites drift.

Software needs updating, certificates expire, hours change, a new team member joins, a plugin stops working, a page added in a hurry breaks the accessibility of the whole site. None of these are dramatic, and together they are how a good website becomes an embarrassing one in two years.

A care plan is a standing arrangement: someone who knows the site checks on it, fixes the small things, and tells you when something bigger is worth doing.

Good questions

Questions about care.

Whether you need it, cancelling, edits and hosting.

Do I have to take a care plan?

No. You own the website and can maintain it yourself or with anyone you choose. A care plan is for owners who would rather have updates, backups and small changes handled by the person who built the site.

Can I cancel?

Yes, month to month. Nothing about the website depends on the plan continuing; it is yours either way.

What counts as a content edit?

Changing text, swapping photos, updating hours or prices, adding a team member, posting a news item you have written. New pages, new features and redesigns are quoted separately.

Is hosting included?

Hosting and the domain stay in your name and are billed to you directly by the provider, so you are never locked in. The care plan covers managing them.

Want someone keeping an eye on the site?

Tell Albert what the site runs on and how often it changes. You get a recommendation for the plan that fits, or a note that you do not need one.
